The Western Wake Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is committed to helping young men and women succeed academically. This includes ensuring that students have access to the financial resources they need to obtain a college education.
Scholarships are available to high school seniors who live in the following Western Wake Alumnae Chapter service areas: Apex, Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, and Morrisville cities of Wake County, North Carolina. To be eligible to receive an award, recipients must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college, university, community college, or vocational institution during the 2023-2024 academic year. Verification of enrollment must be provided. Recipients of the Western Wake Alumnae Chapter Scholarship have until June 1, 2023, to claim the awarded scholarship.
Applications must include the following items:
- Completed Application Form
- Transcripts (must include your name, classes, and date)
- Copy of letter of acceptance from a college, university, or vocational institution that applicant will attend or statement explaining acceptance.
- Verification of at least 50 community service hours within the last academic year & at least 150 community service hours during your high school career.
- 500-700 words per question
- Two letters of recommendation (reference form required).
- Professional Solo Photo
