President's Message

Welcome to the official, virtual home of the Western Wake Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated!  Chartered April 26, 2011, we are a proud presence in Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Apex, Cary, and Morrisville as we serve these cities that comprise western Wake County, North Carolina.  Western Wake Alumnae has an energetic, cross-generational body of members and I am humbled by the privilege to serve as our 4th President.

Western Wake Alumnae is dedicated to serving its communities through the implementation of relevant and sustainable projects in support of the major programs of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated based upon the Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

  • Economic Development
  • Educational Development
  • International Awareness & Involvement
  • Physical and Mental Health
  • Social Action (Political Awareness and Involvement)

One Heart, One Western Wake for Delta!

The Western Wake Alumna Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 with 37 members.  Since the chapter’s chartering, membership has grown substantially, including the induction of new members into this illustrious sisterhood.
