Vision Statement

To implement relevant and sustainable programs that help improve our Community and our Delta Legacy of Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service.

Western Wake Alumnae Chapter:

Serving Our Communities...One Heart, One Western Wake for DELTA!

The Western Wake Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 with 37 members.  Since the chapter’s chartering, the membership has tripled.  Our members have worked diligently to serve the community with innovative programs and projects to support our organization’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust.

The Western Wake Alumnae Chapter has sponsored non-partisan candidate forums and voter registration drives in Wake County to support Political Awareness and Involvement. We have volunteered our time, efforts, and donated to Dress for Success, Raleigh Correctional Center for Women, and Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan’s Purse. The chapter has also implemented EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) Program and awarded scholarships to high school seniors in Wake County. As Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. celebrates 111 years in our illustrious Sorority we look forward to continuing the legacy of our 22 founders through scholarship, sisterhood and service in our community.

Western Wake....
