The Western Wake Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. invite high school seniors who live in the Wake County towns of Apex, Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs or Morrisville and who will be enrolled full time during the 2026-2027 school year at an accredited college, university, community college or vocational institution to apply for WWA Scholarships by March 31, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a high school senior.
- Reside in Apex, Cary, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, or Morrisville, NC.
- Provide a minimum of 25 community service hours with appropriate contact information.
- Upload or email your 2026-2027 college acceptance letter.
- Upload or email a high school transcript (must include name, classes, and date).
- Submit one letter of recommendation by the deadline using one of these methods:

- Write your short essay (300-500 words, choose ONE prompt):
- Prompt 1. Your college goals and choice of major, what you intend to do with your education, and why a scholarship is important to you. Include any academic and non-academic accomplishments, personal characteristics, or experiences that make you uniquely worthy of scholarship consideration.
- Prompt 2. Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.
Complete ALL application components to be considered for eligible scholarships.
Scholarship funds must be claimed by August 1, 2026.
